She was
also a producer of the “New Writers Selection Committee” for ACT
ONE created by Showtime and Paramount Pictures Television for which
15 plays were selected for production
at The Met Theatre, Los Angeles. Winship is a founding member of the Lexington
Conservatory Theatre, Lexington, NY, on the board of The Playwrights Project/New
River Dramatist located in Healing Springs, North Carolina and a founding member
of Interact Theatre in Los Angeles. She was also an Image Consultant for SELF
Magazine, a Conde Nast Publication.
Winship
was an actress, choreographer and movement teacher with the American Conservatory
Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco and worked with Francis
Ford
Coppola, William Ball, Ellis Raab, Edward Hastings and Alan Fletcher. She
was a guest actress and directed at the Loeb Drama Center, Harvard University,
Cambridge, Massachusetts. She also assisted Ed Zwick and Emily Mann on
several original theater projects.
