When
your screenplay is submitted to a producer or studio, it will be judged by
a script reader's coverage before a Hollywood executive ever looks at page
one. Screenplay coverage is typically 3-4 pages consisting of a logline,
short synopsis and a page of commentary noting the script’s strengths,
weaknesses and appropriateness to the producer or company who commissioned
the script coverage.
Screenplayhelp.com DOES NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH COVERAGE.
Script coverage might be helpful for an overview, but simply due to the shortness
of the evaluation will it rarely satisfactorily address any significant problems.
Script coverage
is designed for movie executives, not for writers. Film development
execs only want to know about the
problems, and how to SAY NO TO YOU.
