Through strategic film and entertainment business contacts and my unique experience and knowledge from working in Hollywood, I am able to identify exciting, new material for both miniseries and movie consideration.

I
was head of the story department for HBO Films and Series during the
production
of such Emmy winners and Oscar nominees as
Angels In America, Something
The Lord Made, American Splendor,
Maria Full Of Grace, The Sopranos, Six Feet
Under and Deadwood.
At UCLA Extension I taught courses on story
development
and script analysis, pitching to the entertainment industry and writing
seminars for foreign students and movie executives. Under the auspices
of UCLA Extension, I traveled internationally bringing my screenwriting, script
analysis and pitching expertise
to film execs and screenwriting students.
Currently
I am lead faculty for the MFA program in Professional Screenwriting at National University,
the 2nd largest private, non-profit university in California with an endowment of
over 300 million. This exciting, fully accredited MFA program
is 95% online with a 2 week residency in Los Angeles - ideal for those with
full time jobs and/or family obligations. (for more information see p. 264
of the NU catalog: http://www.nu.edu/OurPrograms/Catalog.html).
